To be honest, I don't really remember how we got here. It's been a while now since we've been wandering in this forest, which I think was part of a high mountain; considering that most of it was set on a big slope. It had so many trees, you couldn't see anything else around but them. I couldn't even understand if it was day or night! And they were notably tall, like as if we were in a rainforest. Oh, also the ground was covered with leaves! Big and small, endless leaves in all the shades of green laying everywhere; except the path. The path was so clear of leaves, as if the forest, somehow, wanted to honor its guests.. Everything felt so alive in this place. Alive and aware of us being there...
Anyway, we were there for exploring and we were so excited that we wouldn't let anything scare us away that easily. Although, there were two strange things about this forest. First, there were some pretty dark entrance holes in the slope, which were all connected with each other by a weird, wooden labyrinth built underground; or that's what I thought, at least. The labyrinth's paths were probably not human-size made, considering the holes. Actually, they were so small, that you should stoop to walk inside there; if you were brave enough to enter. Now, the second strange thing about this place was that it had some giant spiders hidden in it. Big in the size of a cat, skulking underneath the leaves, behild trees and inside the labyrinth. Strangely, they were not moving around. Every spider had its own spot, waiting for you to come close enough so they could attack you. We were lucky to espy and detect most of them, before anything not-so-funny happen.
So doc, that was the basic data of the dream and all that we were doing there was just wandering and exploring, trying to spot the spiders, figure out all of the labyrinth's exits and how they connect with each other... Curiosity, you see; our mortal weakness... Well, at least that was my point of view as I was leading our way. My girlfriend was also enjoying the labyrinth puzzle-solving part, but she wasn't feeling that comfortable in that forest, as she's really afraid of spiders, let alone the giant ones. To conclude, the dream ended when I found out all these things I just mentioned, right at the time I was explaining them to her.
So, does anything interesting coming out of this story for you, doc? Is there any hidden message that I should be aware of?
